I'm attempting this again. If you have any comments about my post of the 26th. Please post them after this post. Thanks.

Well my comments board for the post below didn't seem to work since they updated to the new version of Blogger software. I'll see if I can work out the problem by the next post. Sorry guys.
Well this weekend is the start of the Bloody Summer in Delaware. Saturday afternoon the shit hits the fan. Eight men do battle for one of four spots in July's Tounament of Death. A chance to meet CZW's sickest goes to the four winners. Let's take a look at the competitors shall we.

1st up: Team IWA Mid-South: Ian Rotten, J C Bailey, Corporal Robinson & a fourth man yet to be revealed. We already saw what these men are capable of a few weeks ago in Philadelphia. It's a toss up if these bastards are sicker than the ultraviolent Icons of CZW or not. Anyone who has viewed an IWA King of the Death Matches tape knows what I am talking about. These guys like to get creative in their types of death matches. But they are going into the ring against John Zandig & the boys from CZW. Many of the CZW guys have competed in Japan where the Death Match is king. In fact, I think Zandig introduced a few new types to the Japanese audience. So beyond the goal of getting into the tournament, Team IWA is in this for the bragging rights. This is personal. Which league (CZW or IWA) has the sickest group around? Depending on how many of the IWA team survive, this could be determined next month back at Racks. You can be certain that it is Ian's hope that they all make it there next month. Which makes things extremely tough for the other competitors. And who are the other competitors?

2. Necrobutcher. After an excellent showing in last year's tournament, Necrobutcher returns to raise more hell. Last year, Necrobutcher & Wifebeater wrestled thru, over & around the crowd at Racks, doing serious damage to themselves and anything that wasn't (and a few things that were) hooked down. As last year's IWA King of the Deathmatch champion ( a title he won shortly after coming back from having his arm impaled by a broken light tube), Necrobutcher more than qualifies as a tough match for any of the others. Add into that the fact that he has unfinished business with Ian Rotten and the picture gets even uglier.

3. Mr. Insanity Toby Klein. Klein is back after also competing in last year's Tournament of Death. Klein gave a decent showing against Nick Gage but is he ready for the others in the Extreme 8? He has nothing to lose...except possibly some vital part of his anatomy. Only time will tell if Klein has the balls to meet up with the others & when the smoke clears the question will be will he have any balls left at all.

4. Bishop Slade. Big man from the Pittsburg area. Don't know too much about him. Supposedly the rumor is he was friends with New Jack. If this is true, I hope that New Jack gave him a little of his hardcore training cause entering into a contest with any of the Team IWA guys, he's going to need every advantage he can get. I spoke to him briefly at the Philly show. He seems excited to be coming. Let's hope he is as excited about being here once he finishes in the ring Saturday.

5. Deranged. Not the high flying little guy we've all come to know 7 love over the last few CZW cards. Nope this guy is big, bald & wears an orange prison jumpsuit. Is he any good? I can't tell you too much. The only footage I saw of him, he lost tons of blood as well as his lunch. Yes, at IWA's King of the Death Match 2001, Deranged blew chunks all ove the floor at ringside. Those of you who paid extra for those ringside seats are giving it second thoughts right now aren't you? I'll give the man this, he bleeds like a stuck pig. We might see him take some sick bumps but I'm not looking for him to advance.

That's the line up for the Extreme 8. In addition you have Zangig & Gage against Messiah & Hatred. The winning team's members to advance to the Tournament. A tough enough match as it is with these four men but with all of the other outside interests involved here, who knows who will get involved? One thing is for sure. It's going to ba an all out war.

And this is just the beginning. There are two more shows to go at Racks. The Bloody Summer is here. Bring your raincoats, bring your dropcloths, bring your umbrellas because the shower of blood is about to begin.

This is The Bloodhound saying Keep On Howlin' & Prowlin'. See you at the matches. Check back here and at www.czwwrestling.com after the show for more news & commentary.
